Ms. Menna currently serves as General Counsel for Genatt V, a Foundation Risk Partner. She not only handles management and coordination of legal matters for the brokerage side of the business, but also manages complex claims, risk management services, and underwriting for clients. Her expertise includes navigating complex commercial litigation, condominium/co-op claims, contract review, tender and risk transfer analysis, negotiating intricate multi-party matters, evaluating complicated insurance programs (such as large loss-sensitive programs), examining and analyzing coverage correspondence, engaging with insurers on coverage related issues, and working with public/claims adjusters on resolving catastrophe losses.
Ms. Menna has participated in hundreds of mediations, with significant training in alternative dispute resolution. She is a panel neutral for both the Suffolk County Commercial Division and the Nassau Supreme Court. She also devotes hundreds of pro bono hours mediating cases for EAC/Long Island Dispute Resolution Center, handling special education mediations, as well as custody and visitation mediations. She is the co-author of the “All-Covered” articles published in Habitat magazine, exploring the intersection between insurance, the law and real estate management.
